This page is under construction and will be updated throughout Spring 2020.
This page is the repository for all materials for the Field Animal Behavior course (BIOL 3720L) in the UGA Marine Institute Marine Biology Spring Semester 2020.
This is a field-based course that will:
introduce students to principles of animal behavior
engage students in understanding primary literature
build their scientific skills through observations and experiments
Of course, this will all happen on the culturally, historically, and ecologically rich Sapelo Island—a barrier island home to tidal creeks, salt marshes, dunes, maritime forests, and the myriad animals that call them home.
